I’ve skied the 182 C tour about 15-20 days in the BC this winter for my guide job at our yurt in Montana.
IMO, they handle everything well, except for very tight, steep trees.
The longer turn radius is noticeable in tighter noodling situations, but most of the time I’m quite happy with this ski.
I’ve been driving them with a Dynafit Radical Pro and Superlite bindings.
I’m 6’ and 210lbs with gear. Usually ski a 188 or 190cm ski, but the 182 commander has nearly the same effective edge as larger, more heavily rockered skis.
I’ve paired them with Pomoca skins and they don’t feel heavy. Not sure I’d want to go much lighter unless it was a long traverse type situation.
