No no TJ Brk disappeared in a fog of lies and gunpowder smoke, carrying an aluminum softball bat and a head full of mental illness, into the wilds somewhere north of Tremblant.
Yeah that was a pretty serious public meltdown if I remember right. He was hit pretty hard when we lost Plakespeare because he was also struggling with cancer and somehow lost his VA coverage.
Wherever Teej is, I just hope he hung onto the blonde. She was quite the looker.
Next winter I’m gonna don my Mt Brighton maintenance crew hat, get loaded, strip naked and run through the snow covered streets of Ellicottville in honor of Dex.
He was certainly an odd ball who may have told a few stories not based on any facts

Almost as big as getting a total moron into the office of the Presidency.
Upstate is the scene of one of the greatest public hoaxes in American History?
I noticed today that I hear a ton of DUI lawyer radio commercials upstate. I don’t ever remember hearing one on a metro area station. Is that an upstate thing or just a rural thing?
more just rural ime. I guess the urban drunks are on foot.
Fucker! Another shit bike ride today. Fighting traffic. No shoulder. Burned out buildings. Shitty overcast skies. Pancake flat roads. I gotta get outta WNY.

Nice spot
A bit grim in winter. Well, it was, back when we used to have winter.
Grim. If I recall correctly, Jer was the arbiter of grim round these parts.
If there’s anything that I learned growing up catching 38 more days of sunshine during the winter in NE Ohio than those that endured 38 more grey, snowy, days in the Upstate, was that you had to be pretty metal to endure that kind of shit. I don’t think the grim could handle it.
Finger Lakes aren't that grim in winter, they are much more tolerable than Buffalo and Southern Tier snowbelt.
Bristol Mtn had one cut run without snowmaking, I don't think I ever saw it open. It's no longer on the map.
As for WNY or Finger Lakes being road biking heaven? Sure, go ahead and run with that.
that does it, the maggot mini location has been changed from old forge to Trax. bring loafers.
Boat shoes acceptable?
That's right ... let it flow

I drove 500000 miles on 55 mph rural two lanes in Upstate without any problems. Takes some skill. Pro tip. Mornings and evenings back off when you drive down hill into a small valley. That's where and when deer are moving. Driving smart saved me more than a few times.
Drilling a deer is a right of passage for WNY drivers.
