Condolences, from someone who nearly lost their own soulkeeper earlier this year I cannot fathom the pain you are feeling. Continue to be the man she loved, keep her beautiful memory alive and share her spirit with many more passionate people in your future. Know you have the best, most sincere love from your friends that they can give and know that you will pull through, slowly, painfully and we shall all help as much as we can.

I know there's nothing anyone can say to make it better, but I just wanted to add my condolences. I lost one of my very best friends to suicide this past summer, and I still haven't completely gotten over it... doubt I ever will. I can still drive myself crazy if I think about it too much. It was bad enough losing a friend; I can't imagine it being your soulmate. You'll find your own way to deal with it though. Reading this brought back a lot of emotions from that time... anger being one of them. Sounds fucked up to be angry at someone who has died, but I was. I guess you just have to live all the emotions as they happen and know that you will eventually come out on the other side. Best of luck to you. ++
Thought I have felt pain and heartache these past few years but it all pales in comparison to how you must feel. Hang in there man. Prayers to you. Your pain will lessen and your heart will allow her to live on forever.

I keep looking at the TR from the chute and choke up every time I read this thread. I am so sorry for the loss of someone you loved so much. After reading only part of this thread yesterday my wife and I went to see the Banff Mountain Film Festival. There was a 10 minute segment of the Tirol region shot in hi-def flying through valleys, time lapse cloud sequences, changes of seasons with music from Phillip Glass. I couldn't help but think that your wife was seeing that same scene in the Tirol Alps, but only in much more vivid colors and soaring like the eagle that was in the sequence. May she live forever with you and in the mountains you know she'll always be watching over you, blessing you on each journey you take and keeping you safe and loved just like you loved her. She still needs you in your form here on Earth to be the one that takes those journeys, but she'll always be there by your side. Stay strong and if you need anything from us please let us know, we are all here for you.

Doug I'm still in shock. I don't even know the both of you. I didn't get anything done at work today or yesterday for that matter. It's because I'm thinking about you and you're in my thoughts. Legoskier and I talked about DW last night and I cried and cried, .......I have no idea what you're going through but I pray that you'll come out standing strong.....eventually. The photographs of your wife are so beautiful...she was really loving life or so it seems. I'm so sorry you are in this situation, and I hope you can be at peace with this eventually...someday.

Just wanted to offer some further words of support after reading more details and hearing of the police involvement. My family endured a similar situation a few years ago, and I'm sorry you've had to face everything else additionally in your time of greatest need. Lean on everyone around you (and all of us around the globe) for love and support. I really hope the police investigation is over and you can move forward to grieve for your wife with fewer external worries.
