Yeah I love the squads.

They’re pretty different, the squad tails are a lot softer and that ski is generally just more plush and with its extra length(I have the 187 R110). The R110 has more energy and stronger edge grip while being more maneuverable than the squad in moguls and tight spaces.
For example on the R110 I can rip staircase as hard as I can then go up and ski fall line all the way through sapphire mixing between slarves and carves, it will be more work than on the squad, but I will be skiing with more precision and power.
On the squad I’d sort of surf my way through the bite and then power slarve my way down sapphire. Both are fun, both let you ski fast, but in different ways. However I haven’t skied the squad much this year, and I’ve basically just been on the R110 since I got it. It’s really fun

I’d say the R110 is more everyday even in shit variable versus the squad as I find the squad becomes less precise in those conditions and is more of a cushy DH bike.

My last comp was a 2* at age 42. I think there were 5 of us over 40 that formed an over-40 club. It's fun shit.

Hey man, I locked production qty for fall delivery last week. There are 2x 185 FL105 that are still available on that run. There is also 1x 192 FL105 available for immediate shipment.

as far as how long that lasts, can’t say, but I’d imagine they will all be spoken for by August when the skis arrive, if not much sooner than that.

Plan to make a TR from the Narvik trip. I'm aiming for a few points, at least, stay away from dnf status. I was thinking either FL113 or FL105, but splitting the middle with the R105s sounds like a good call!

The more I ski my BC105s, the more stoked I am to get a pair of the R105s this fall. Really loving that ski, and I’ve skied the FL version as well. Excited at a full rocker version with the free ride construction, I think it’s gonna slay.

Also, I borrowed my BC105s to the owner of one of the ski/gear shops here. He took them out for a couple days during a good storm cycle and had some *chef’s kiss* things to say about them. He lurks here and occasionally posts, he said he might pop in and share his thoughts so I won’t speak for him but I will say he sounded *very* impressed.

The BC105 is the one ski that i irrationally/rationally need a lot more than any others. My lift served season is practically over, so bc90 time now. [emoji23]

It’s stupid to “waneed” 3 skis of the exact same shape just with variations in construction and profile but heritage labs has done it to me multiple times across the 105, 110, and 120ST shapes.

I spent some time inbounds on BC105s at the start of the season and I immediately knew I wanted that shape and profile with an FL layup. So stable and planted through chop at 1650g but still slashy and surfy in fresh, the R105 must be absolute pivot-missiles. Waneed.

I have similar thoughts. I own a r120, fl113 and have a r105 on order. The rocker profile is essentially the same on the 3 skis just different flex/shapes. I owned the fl105 and at the risk of ridicule here, I didn't get along with them as well as I’d like. I’m really looking forward to the r105, as it will address my gripes with the fl105.

Got them out without the kid today after increasing the tail bevel. They still don?t like to go slow on hard pack but that is fixed by just going fast. They are great in soft groomed bumps and tech which is exactly what I was looking for and just mow through the crud. They feel perfect in slightly soft tech or bumps where it?s point shoot then scrub, just need to watch my speed to not hit anyone while going 40 around a blind corner
