Dang. Too bad the whole bottom is rusting out of this thing or Id be half tempted. Would be rad to have a classic Volvo:

Fred Flintstone special
That's what I was wondering! WTF? And dude's smoking crack with that price considering the rust.

Used to keep a piece of linoleum across the missing back floor on the old 70 144 it allowed backseat passengers to not have to drag feet on pavement- but it wasn’t totally covering holes there was still room to drop your empties …

How about this 1989 Jaguar XJS coupe, V12:

It looks to be in excellent condition for the body and interior, and very low miles. So it's just the simple matter of baselining fluids and making sure all the electrical and rubber bits are holding up. Should be a snap!
If anything screams "snap!" in the car world it's a 1989 Jag with a V-12 that hasn't ran in 15 years.

Ha. Looks wise, totally. Having driven a few of them though... meh. They're ok. Driving one a few times was enough to get it out of my system.
Plus, you know the old adage. Better have enough money for 2 of those, as one will always be in the shop. And that was when they were NEW! Haha. Perfect for the spirit of this thread, though. Beautifully unreliable.

I wasn't sure which car thread to put this in...
A few things to know before stealing my 914
914 reminds me: has a Fiero been considered? Maybe too reliable.

That's not a "stupid" engine swap for a Fiero.
This is.

Oh right DOHC etc.. Funny they had to fuck with things. Too bad. My buddy’s folks had an STS and an ETC with north stars and those motors had pull. They didn’t keep them into high miles tho. FWD iirc though, kinda a drag.
