If it doesn't bother the ladies too much, I'd love to get in on this too on Monday morning. I was talking logistics with Josh P, but it may also be easier to coordinate with other PC folks. We'll see.
BTW, heres a shot of Josh P, before embarking on his 20+ mile stage in the middle of the day's heat, at low-ish altitudes, with absolutely zero shade. Good work man.

(And Liz, I know the feeling, and still laughed so sorry, but have burned my leg numerous times after a ride when it's time to raise my seat, standing with the leg right next to the brake. Yes, that's right, I'm a slow learner. :D)

PC folks, you could meet us at Guardsman as long as we have enough room/cars to get you all back up there after we bottom out in Millcreek. My count is 3 PC folks so far, right? We would need at least two cars meeting at the bottom of Millcreek in the morning, both able to carry four bikes (that would be us and UtSG/James?). We can carry four bikes and four-five (tight) peeps in the Tacoma. I guess we can finalize logistics by phone/PM tomorrow.
BTW: It looks like Josh was about to puke before he even started the race. And I'm proud that he went with the spandex. Nice.
Since this has been deemed gender-neutral, I'd be interested in joining y'all Monday morning. I live in SLC, have a car with 3 racks on it, and don't mind shuttling.
Where and when would be the best place to meet?
Include Ski Monkey in that count of PC people too. If need be, we can meet down there, just have to get up earlier :eek: , and we can carry 4 bikes. So, if we don't have enough, let us know.
Otherwise, we'll meet you at Guardsman (how long after you meet?), as long as we get directions or a guide (LDD?) to show us where to go. Grin.

I would love to ride the crest with a mob of 50 bikers. I have a vehicle that can take five bikes and one passenger. I think that the earlyer the better. I rode the crest on saturday and ther were alot of folks on the trail by 8:00. Especially when we got into millcreek. What do you think about 7:00?
I would like to join the hord of maggots attacking the Crest tomorrow morning. Considering the oppressive heat, I would say that an earlier meeting time, i.e. 7:00 or 7:30, at the mouth of Mill Creek canyon (two words is proper; signed, recently resigned Chairman, East Mill Community Council) is wise. In my perfect little world, I'd catch a ride up with someone and ride home after after coming down the canyon. I could then give a two or three PC folks a ride back to PC as I have to go to my office tomorrow.
The PC Mags may want to consider coming over Guardsman and parking at the gate around 7:30 or 8:00.

Ha! 7 or 7:30 works for me. I can fit 2 more bikes on my car. So, Inspector G, I can give you a ride up.

Oh, and I'd suggest ya'll go as early as possible. Otter is right, there were loads of people on the trail even before 8am.
I can haul three bikes and five people in a pinch. Traffic wasn't to bad with A9:00 start today but it was a little toasty.

Alright! The maggots are taking over the Crest!
Since I semi-started this thread, I'm making an executive decision for the early start (it was stupid hot again today). SL mags meet at 7:00 at the little parking lot on the west side of Wasatch Blvd at the bottom of Mill Creek Canyon. PC mags, meet at the Guardsman bend-in-the-road at 7:30. I think we should have enough cars to figure everything out in the morning.
I'd like to join yas! Anyone have any extra sprocket lugs? If thats what they are called. I lost a few last crest and haven't been to the shop yet. Little help.
