I found out tonight that the wheel bumps on the front end of the BRZ are pretty damn sexy when you're looking over them from behind the wheel. Oh yeah, FKNA nice car :) That thing knows what it means to corner.

NBCHD had a couple of shows on tonight that seem to be part of a series... They bad The Road to Mercedes and The Road to Ferrari. The presenters were ok. Nothing groundbreaking, but not annoying and obviously really into cars. But the stops they made, carn porn and other subject matter were all awesome. Worth the watch. Hoping to find a Road to Porsche episode.
I think there's something wrong with me :o Leading into winter I'm seriously considering getting a sports car. That spin in the BRZ last night really resonated with me. It looks great (that's part of what this thread is about right,) it has a super sexy hump over the front wheels, it handles like it's on rails, it's RWD, has more than sufficient giddyup to be a bundle of fun and it has a back seat  And that steering ... Wow!
I need something to counter it to keep the wife happy though, anybody know of a killer deal on a ten or so year old Ranger Supercab 4x4?
Mods so far,Fabspeed secondary cat delete/bypass, resonatator removal, Fabspeed X-pipe installed. Still have stock mufflers. I am probably going to put Tubi's or Larini or Fabspeed cans on some time this winter. 15mm front and 25mm rear staggared spacers coming along with some new Goodyear eagle f1 supercar tires in 285/r35-18. should look sweet.

Sports car = You don't have to go too fast to have a whole bunch of fun. Maybe a little bit fast ...
Porn. Beauty to dream about with unique abilities. This SLS rolled through the shop last week. Always liked the concept of the gull wing doors.

I saw one of those things this spring...same color. Actually, I heard it before I saw it. They have a rather distinct and throaty note to their exhaust, as far as Mercedes go, anyway.
I think they have fairly captured the sprit and intention of the original '55 300 SL coupe with this specimen. Kudos to the design team at Mercedes Benz for this.
Up until the last week or so I see at least one of those a week. I'm constantly amazed at the cars running around the NY Metro area. There's a three wheeled Morgan I see a few times a month downtown, a 56 Porsche Spyder I've seen a bunch of times and a whole slew of crazy cool cars you just wouldn't expect to see in such a hazardous environment with such "wonderful" pavement.
Super sexy bimmer. It's full carbon fiber. I wonder how many skis splat could have made with that kinda of material on hand. Plus it goes 0-60 in 3.9 and can get 75mpg on full electric or almost 45 mpg with help from the gasser Attachment 160134
I wish I would've ordered one of those...
i8s are selling for 100k over MSRP.
That thing is rad, local BMW dealer had one on the floor a few weeks ago when I stopped in for routine service. It was already sold and the owner was letting them pimp it until he got back in town. It was funny, the sales people would see you admiring the i8 and then try and show you the not nearly as awesome i3 (of which they had a fleet for sale). Ok buddy, I'm interested in this crazy supercar but yeah, tell me about the electric iPad thing you're hawking. :rolleyes2
Both are high performance machines.
The new Mustang looks like a Taurus.
That is all.
2015 go maro z28 75k sticker and air conditioning is not standard. 1150 dollar option. I hope those recaro seats are more comfortable than the standard seats. those suck a phat shlong
^Now that's a sports car...
BMW 507, the true ultimate driving machine!
And dare I say, it is just about on par with the XKE when it comes to the best looking car ever.
My local BMW dealer had a single owner Z8, the modern day 507 for sale. It was sold when I was passing through the showroom from the service center for $160K. Not bad appreciation. And a gorgeous car. Granted, not quite 507 gorgeous, but close.
Loved my ZR2 s10 blazer back in the day. Current ride is a 2012 1500 Sierra but it may be this soon. Depends on employee pricing

I share the nostalgia for the original, but let's face it, gull wing doors are fucking stupid. Roof strength and stiffness are compromised. In a rollover accident, occupants are trapped. So Merc kluged a fix in which explosives hopefully blow the doors off in that scenario.
Hey man some of us are still livin the dream

Had the flairs and bottom 1/4 of body linexed. Did the level kit from day star for the rear sag. 4 trips across the country and countless trips up and down the east coast. Can't believe I sold it for 2 grand. I ended up nick naming it Elvis. It shack rattled and rolled. 250k miles 2 trannys 1 converter 1 heater core an intake gasket and a can of ac freon 1x a month. I still want it back.
Man my boss has one of those jimmies, it breaks down all the time. I keep telling him to sell it as soon as he has it working right.
