It is a bit of a refuge camp as most people that have evacuated from Grand Lake and Granby areas are posted up here. Horse and RVs everywhere, super long lines at the gas stations and grocery (City Market closed at 3pm yesterday), some sort of weird panic-y fish outta water vibe from outta state tourtists and WFH Covid hideouts. Combine this with a full closure of public lands and a bit of a strange place to be for an outsider. I'm not saying don't go but it is ain't all flat brims, chardonnay, and puffy coats this weekend.
