Depends... if it's a public sauna (say at a swimminghall) it might not be the most social thing (they usually even have different sauna's for guys & gals :fuckyou:).Quote:

As for sauna's in Russia, well the one we visited in St. Petersburg was really nice, and the pool was actually pretty big (5 * 10 m or something).
BTW. throwing water at the stove makes the heat more tolerable (in the longrun, you might get sort of a whipslash in the beginning).
Disclaimer "Never ever throw spirits (pref. Vodka) on the stove while at the sauna." Done that and I can vouch for the fact that it's not a good idea (lost my freakin' memory for the next ~14 h). Some beer in the stove (mixed with the water) will also add a nice malt-flavour to the air.
