RMSP+ holder here. I really wanted to go to WP today, but my mom in law who had something firm going on at 3:00 was watching our 16 month old. That made me gun shy. I just had to have today go well travel wise. Eldora, despite its shortcomings did not disappoint. Loads of fun and caught a few rope drops.
That being said, it looks like we could have gotten away with WP, but the downside this time was too big.
BTW: Google maps was showing 2:54 to my place from Copper. Eeessssh

Left vail at 130 and besides sitting in traffic for 45 minutes at the tunnel there was absolutely no problems

Plus, WP is all traverses, flats, bumps and the snow is blown to Kansas, so stay away;)

Decided that I hated my M+S tires. They were fine on the highway, but anything snowpacked was awful.
Switched back to Winter tires.
