Canucks got robbed... It just wasn't a very nice end to the series at all. Luongo saw that penalty coming and did neglect the puck, but it wasn't an honorable way to lose in any case.

not sure what game you were watching... goalie error. Luongo shouldnt take his eye off the puck because he thinks the ref might blow the whistle, not in a double overtime-you-lose-the-series playoff game. there were 5 players blocking his view and neidermeyer just lobbed the puck in to keep it in the zone. in hockey the more times you fire the puck on net, the better chances you have to score. the canucks got outplayed plain and simple. the ducks are faster, more physical and shot the puck on net more than twice as much as the canucks. it wasnt even a close series.Quote:

Yeah, that was a bad break for 'em. I've been in that spot tho in my goaltending days, and he was kinda screwed either way. Stay in the nets, it's a one on none coming at him, go out and hopefully just sweep/poke check the puck away, all is good. I still think he's one of the better all-round goalies out there.
