I can't imagine they have 10 open yet. I just think those few people skiing 6 are the only people who made it up there.
People were having enough trouble getting out of their driveways, let alone getting to kirkwood.
AKA and Slim are probably on Luther right about now.
From 4pm yesterday to 6am today, I got 20" of blower in my driveway. :D

I actually hope AKA and Slim are beeping. Slides, gullies, LZ's and tree wells are all gonna be risky today.
Alpinemom called me on the road to Alpine to verify what was open. No sooner do I get off the phone with her than Sinecure calls to do the same. Because apparently, it wasn't bad enough that I'm at work instead of skiing; I also need to be their data pimp.

Yes, as skier666 pointed out, I was at the Squaw parking lot and had to make the decision to either ride KT or get on the road.
Knowing more snow ahead, I proceeded out of Squaw. It took me a total of about 6 hours to get out of the mountains yesterday. The conditions on 80 couldn't have been worse. Zero visibility at the summit for about 5-10 seconds.
Not sure if anyone here has noticed, but why are more and more mustangs driving up to Tahoe?
