We made the looong trip to Marmot last winter from California. Love that place. There is a little something for everyone there, and Jasper is a real town. Great vibes all around.

And make sure you hang out with jetski and weibo when you go! Can't ask to meet nicer guys or have better guides to show you around Marmot!
We dropped in last season, from the UK - great little area, but needed more snow.
Loved Jasper as town - really laid back, and was saddened to hear of the desvestation from the fires.
Vibes to the town and hope things can be rebuilt - will be back at some point, unfortunately not this season.

I would agree that the first 1/2 to 2/3 of last year were poor for snow. Hopefully when you are back snow is at a normal to high level.
This is the year. I can feel it. We are overdue for a good snow year. Stoked to hear Wapiti will be available.
snow in banff town overnight. On/off most of yesterday too.
LL is blowing snow
Odds are this will freeze the ground and we can get on with winter
Came over 93 from Radium on Thursday and it was dumping.
Re: Jasper - we use our mountain collective passes there every year and probably crush an additional 5-6 days as well. Great hill, terrain for everybody and I've never seen it massively busy. We always stay at the Crimson in town, great spot with a good pool and hot tub, comfortable beds and affordable. Multiple friends lost their whole homes so def planning on getting out there ASAP.
Heads up out there already.

With LL opening yesterday, we should probably start a new thread?
I'd do it but I don't have any Stoke to post along with it right now.

Does the Gondola spinning tomorrow justify enough stoke? 700m of vert to train those lazy legs back up.
Because you guys are such big YouTubers.
Spooky in the first.

Mtnlion and you other Bow Valley peeps, what’s the word on skating this weekend? Has it been cold enough yet?
Lake Louise is still mostly ice free as of right now.
...but still just one run and likely 5,000 people on the WiWaxy 500 tomorrow
I'll be there!
Pika's been heavily manicured recently, and they -might- open ptarm this weekend and let you a chance to poach the trees if you care to disregard your bases. And of course i'll be stuck working.
The wind has been blowing in steadily and filling the backside as usual. After the shit conditions of the last 21 months i'll take just having average snowpack.
Good day in the alpine yesterday along the Spray corridor. Hardly anything till you get to elevation. Not the proper post for a new 25 thread starter but I’m sure this incoming storm will produce some good stoke…looking forward to the season ahead!
