I have two pair of unmounted skis, and 2 pair of bindings.
Skis: 188 BROs; 189 Pontoons
Bindings: PX140 w/ 100mm brakes; P18 (unbent).
I can just mount the PX14 on the BROs, and there will be no need for bending. The problem is that the P18s have very short brakes. I'm not sure that it is even possible to fit 130mm skis. Sure, I can always bend the PX14s to fit 130mm, but then I will also have to bend the P18s to fit the BROs.

Well, I'm planning on mounting my FKS155's (= same binder 'cept the springs as P18) on Praxis. I've eyeballed the brakes and I should be able to bend 'em to fit the ~135mm waist of Praxis, and yes they will be short...
But then again, brakes are not that useful if you take a big blunder in pow anyway. And I'm sure you won't be skiing 'toons on hardback days.

You can order a wide brake for them PXs, from rossi maybe, that'll fit around toons.
untracked.com has a 125mm wide brake for the px's....
P18 brakes should be able to fit around 130mm, as mentioned though, they will be short.
Another option is to cut the brake arms (for this I recommend finding an old turntable clamp for $10 at a ski swap/thrift store and putting those in place of your brakes) and use a pow leash. Sounds scary but worked out fine for me with Prophet 130s.

Or does the leash you are referring to have some sort of "release", that is weak spot, which will break under load?

I'd reckon that the added beef of the 18's will be more relevant on the BROs as this would be a 'charging in boney-er conds" ski looking at the options you have. That would lead to more potential need for the burl of the 18s, whilst the Toons are for playful powdays, and staying in is important, but less of a 'beat the shit out of them' kinda way.

I've been wondering the same thing, cause I wanna buy the Moment Comis at some point this winter before they sell out, and I picked up an extra pair of Rossi FKS 185s just in case at a good deal cause. I bought 'em cause it was now or never a couple months back 'cause they are now extinct in ski shops for the most part:nonono2: :nonono2: :nonono2: :nonono2:. Having them together in the 'Bird Tram line makes them MUCH easier to carry.
To clarify my earlier post... Use some long powder leashes, not attached to your person. They're tucked into your pant legs... Skis come off, leashes trail out of your pant leg... a bit of the ribbon from the leash stays above the snow (in theory)...
Yes, that would be quite dumb, in the event of an avy. You're thinking like tele leashes attached to your boots...
