The mouse traps have arrived (NSR, and I call no yelling at me for being inhumane).

For those of you who glanced at the last moab T.R. you would know that a new drinking game was invented.

However, due to the mathematical improbablity of "trapping" a mouse while inebriated, with a rock, I have upped the anty and bought a better mouse trap.

This is a co2 air pellet gun. This was decided on after I was told bb's richochet, and plastic pellets don't do anything.

Perhaps the next camping trip, scheduled this weekend, will provide a more interesting post...

Heck, I gots plenty o' guns, but they seem a bit more dangerous than an air gun. I'm not saying thier completely safe, but having been hit by them several times, I know they don't hurt TOO bad. (broken skin, welt)

plus, there are two guns, so if one of us gets out of hand, the other can "take em out".

My wife thanks you very much for giving this little devil of a BUZZ one more toy to buy. My BB rifle has seen better days anyway.

edit: we have a metal roof and some dumbass woodpecker gives us a visit EVERY FACKING MORNING!!!

He will go somehwere else (I have been yelling and punding the wall to get him to fly away) and hopefully soon or become a target.

That Rat-tat-tat-tat....... not only drives us nuts, but our dogs bark at the top of there lungs at it and that is simply too much stimulation for me before the morning coffee.

I'm pretty sure it would reduce a mouse to shreds.

My freind has the .45 spring handgun that shoots at about 225 FPS and it leaves a hell of a welt.

I'm sure you could rig it up to sling metal BB's. Now imagine 400 rounds of fury coming at a little field mouse.

PETA, relax, my idea has nothing to do with killing anything.

I didn't shop around much, just went and bought em at gallyans. They came in a package deal, two co2 cartridges, 8 shot fast loader, a laser sight(hell yeah!), 250 pellets and some safety glasses.

pellets are cheap, like 2 bucks for 250 and co2 is like 5 bucks for 5 cartridges.

They cost me 150 for the two of em. You can get individual guns for a lot less, but, well...these ones looked cool.

So, you really think those new soft plastic bb's would do the job on a mouse, huh? I purposely avoided them because I didn't think it would. bummer, they shoot a lot faster than pellets.

When I was 16, I used to take my sand buggy to the dunes. The others in the group would start drinking a lot, and then decide to go hunt rabbits on the dunes at night. :eek:

I would hide untill morning and then check out the damage. Several times they put 357 rounds into the front of their own buggies. They all said they had a good time. ;)

I think an airsoft pistol probably would be more than enough to take out a mouse, if it was a CO2 powered one.

Our neighbors all have pistols, and I have unknowingly walked in on an all out airsoft war. Those fukkers hurt! Most of the guys have the cheapy spring loaded ones which just leave a welt but one dude has a CO2 pistol with laser sight that can be set to automatic and shoot about 10 bb's a second. His is a serious gun, it draws blood, when he starts firing you get the fuck outta the way quick.
