None of you folks ever made any type of storage hoist for your kayaks ?
I don't have pics (camera is with wiffey in Germany), and I don't have a kayak. But I do have a canoe.Quote:

One heads-up is to take into account how the garage door opens and leave some clearance. Just set the stuff up with the garage door open - duh ! Make sure the pullies are suitably anchored into studs.
I think I still have the whole system I used to use for my kayak in my old house. It was a couple of pulleys and a cleat (to over simplify). If I can find it, do you want to buy it? Its not home-made but built for this. If so, PM me.
