I just saw this. Very sweet to hear that all the gear was there and everyone knew what they were doing.

good that they had the gear and knew how to use it. Not quite willing to give them too many kudos without knowing why he was on a slope that slid in the first place. Did they dig a pit? WHat were conditions like?
Pretty decent outcome, thats for sure.
Watch the second video clip where he goes into more depth about the accident. He fully admits to ignoring a bunch of warning signs of instability and wind loading. They did not dig a pit and sounds like they did no analysis of the snow pack.Quote:
