My EHP193s have recambered
Yea, thats right, recambered. Not decambered, recambered.
When I got these they had about 1-2mm of camber between the two skis.
After about 20 days on em, they have just as much, if not more, camber than the first production run of blems. With the two skis together (and the brakes rubberbanded) they have at least a cm, maybe a touch more, between em.
I'm guessing 4frnt didn't remake the skis, they just tried to bend em? Fucking weak sauce.
I absolutly loved these things my first run, and my first few days on em. Recently though, I have noticed things I don't like quite as much. A big part of that is that they ski pretty short, but maybe the camber has something to do with the other things, like the feeling that they're getting bounced around more now.
So what do you guys think my chances of getting them warrantied are? Anyone dealt with 4frnt before, do they suck? Its not really a big enough problem that I'd send em in right away, since who knows when I'd get em back. I'll probably keep em till the end of the season at least.
I got them from procterjones.com, and I guess its possible that those guys tried bending the skis themselves, instead of sending em back to 4frnt, but I seriously doubt that.
