I can affirm to you that anything near and above treeline will be wind hammered and a death wind crust. There are some sheltered coolies that have good cold soft snow, but be weary of avy threat. The trees lower down will have the best snow. Seek out the most sheltered trees

100k is still quite impressive. If the weather is nice, which it should be, the tour will be worth it. I went up Butler Gulch yesterday and while the turns were not the best, the skin was a good work. We will definitely get to make some turns while I am here.Quote:
