they point in the direction of big mountains
They only go downhill?
Probably just non twin. IE gotama vs sanouk
I thought they just screamed directions...... like "not on zis side, not on zat side, but right in zee middow!" :D
are you serious? think about it.:rolleyes2
Means they're generally kinda heavy and it's pretty tought to ski uphill on them.
Bend zee neeeees!Quote:

I think it means they are less turny than other skis; less sidecut; tips don't hook up into the turn as much, not a twin tip.
Eg: Explosiv, Leg Pro, etc.
No twin is right. A B squad is "a directional ski"Quote:

True Twin = Both ends same height
And then theres the ski with the higher tail than tip, but I have no idea what thats called.

sanouk is a twin (sortof) - tails turned up starting at the base of the swallowQuote:

So I would say it would need an explanation...
they only point north, so you know what direction you're going in
God damn it! I knew that damn shop mounted my Gotamas wrong.Quote:

I think skis need to come with directions these days.
Pontoons already do. :nonono2:Quote:

Then again...
it may have to do with how you can put them in your ski rack. Like, tips forward or to the back.
So which way on the rack would JP vs. Juliens go?Quote:
