they point in the direction of big mountains
They only go downhill?
Probably just non twin. IE gotama vs sanouk
Besides the comet that killed the dinosaurs nothing has destroyed a species faster than entitled white people.-ajp
I thought they just screamed directions...... like "not on zis side, not on zat side, but right in zee middow!"![]()
"I dont hike.... my legs are too heavy"
are you serious? think about it.![]()
Old's Cool.
Means they're generally kinda heavy and it's pretty tought to ski uphill on them.

Talk about opening a can of whoop ass. Spankin'!
I think it means they are less turny than other skis; less sidecut; tips don't hook up into the turn as much, not a twin tip.
Eg: Explosiv, Leg Pro, etc.

You don’t stop playing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop playing.
No twin is right. A B squad is "a directional ski"Originally Posted by kidwoo
Directional Ski = Flat/nearly flat tail
Directional Twin = Twin Tip, but front still higher than back
True Twin = Both ends same height
And then theres the ski with the higher tail than tip, but I have no idea what thats called.

How about a 'general direction' ski?

At work we work with "directional drilling"... and that means we drill the direction we want! Not just straigth down![]()
So I would say it would need an explanation...

Let me put it this way... my yellow K2 AK Launchers are directional skis. My Pocket Rockets are not under that classification.
Then again...
it may have to do with how you can put them in your ski rack. Like, tips forward or to the back.

So which way on the rack would JP vs. Juliens go?Originally Posted by 72Twenty
