finally, snow on the way to Tahoe!
Ullr has answered my prayers (and maybe apprecriated my virgin sacrafices...) and it looks like this high pressure is outta here, the storm door is creaking open again, and we are set for a week of storms to roll through. my models show this one coming this weekend could be sweet if all things go according to plan.

TUESDAY...
LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON. THE SNOW WILL BECOME
HEAVIER AND STEADIER LATER TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY...BEFORE TAPERING OFF
BY TUESDAY EVENING. SNOW LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN LOW...NEAR
3000 TO 3500 FEET FOR MOST OF THE STORM.
THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR 6 TO 12 INCHES OF SNOW ABOVE 3000 FEET
LATER TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY.
ADDITIONAL WINTER STORM SYSTEMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS NORTHERN
CALIFORNIA ON WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY....THEN AGAIN ON FRIDAY INTO
SATURDAY. NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME FOR THESE
STORMS BUT THEY WILL NEED TO BE MONITORED.
