They're probably stored in your browser's cache folder.
Assuming you're on Windows using Internet Explorer, take a look in the folder C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files, where you'd replace the text YOUR USERNAME with the profile name you use to login to Windows.
From what I can tell, they're encoded as Flash Videos (.flv) so you'll either need the developer version of Macromedia Flash (not just the free player) to re-encode them into a new swf file, or Google for an flv player, looks like there are quite a few free players available.

Had already figured to look in the cache but the YouTube files are generic with no designation. Renaming with the ".flv" at the end did the trick.
