Also Big Bertha, a slide path off Crystal Peak, which had run in the 60's, released a 13' crown back in 98-99. I believe the Rumble Gully monster slide that killed two at Mt Baker that same year was said to be about 20 feet at its highest.
Ffh, do you know how far up the slide in Lizrds that caught the folks by surprise originated from? I'm guessing the main fracture line would have been below the cliffbands as the slide in your pic was.
I got pushed down 15 feet of so by a mass of heavy moving snow today on a steep ramp at Alpental....glad there were no trees directly in the path.
