Honestly, how many times does Joe Buck have to say PODsednik before the goddamn producers tell him its not pronounced that way? This Fox team and their broadcast makes watching the World Series that much less enjoyable... what a great game last night, but with the stupid comments by both these morons, I'd rather watch it on mute.
McCarver is a tool, and hasn't changed his wardrobe since the mid 70's.
As far as wardrobe goes, nothing beats that get-up that Phil Simms had on for the Broncos-Giants game... nothing like a nice powder blue cardigan sweater for a football game.
Yeah, Pinella was supposed to do the first games, but decided to stay home in Florida due to the wonderful weather. bummer.

Apparently Brandon Arrojo = Bronson Arroyo in McCarver's world. The dickhead couldn't get the guy's name right to save his life during last year's ALCS. Personal opinion here, but he seems to be a bumbling idiot to me that makes very little sense 90% of the time. When he is making sense, he is simple stating the obvious: "Joe...what the Astros need to do here is get a baserunner on base. That would put them in a place where they could score a run". Thanks for the mindblowing insight, Tim.

Its almost as bad as ESPN having Shelley Smith do interviews. I guess fat girls need loving too.
Maybe McCarver and Buck will get stuck in Chi-town and won't make the trip to Houston to do games 3-5.

Yeah, after f-ing up Arroyo's name multiple times and I can only assume he must've heard about it, he f-ed it up again this year during the regular season. I guess there are bigger things to worry about, but that's one of my pet peeve's when someone constantly gets something wrong.Quote:

I've never heard anyone say they like Tim McCarver yet there he is, year after year. I bet Fox purposely trots McCarver out there knowing everyone hates him. It's like a train wreck you just can't turn away from.

I think you people need to learn to watch sports the same way I do. With the TV on mute and music on my stereo instead of listening to the announcers. Do you really need someone to explain what you can watch with your own eyes? With all the graphics these days you can read everything on the screen. Mc Carver hasn't bothered me at all, plus the commericals are less annoying when you can't hear them.

I might be a Boston fan and Morgan had his magic, but the guy is an idiot. He makes tons of claims that aren't true, he gets called out on them and he still says the same untrue shit.
Take Moneyball for instance, which he's repeatedly claimed Billy Beane wrote, even after someone told him he didn't.
