Could have guessed the mountain would open the weekend I was going home... :nonono2:
Future sessions. I'm down like a clown.
Is the basin or loveland opening or both?
Niether of their websites says anything...

BTW, watch the news. It's supposed to be on tonight. "You could be skiing friday. We'll tell you where."
Got meetings friday morning, but planning to be there early afternoon for a few quick spins.

I am pretty damn sure Loveland will be open by the weekend. I WILL be there on Saturday. Bro Models and yellow jacket.
210cm minimum puss bags!
BWWWaAAAAHAHHAHAHAHAAA. Wait. You're talking about Colorado right? Good luck kid. Seriously I hope it is but...yeah good luck. Most years I lived in Summit we were stoked to have a 25" base by Thanksgiving.Quote:

A Basin really does suck in comparison. Although of course I'll hang out there some as well.
It'd be cool if somebody called over to A Basin today and asked them when they're gonna open. Ask patrol, not the ticket office. I think I'm going to Breck to get my pass today. Wonder how that new chair is doing. I'm actually psyched for that chair - should be fun.
Last bit of giddyness for the moment - I think it'd be awesome to get a group together to head down to Wolf Creek on opening day.
Ridiculously excited to ride my first chair of the season. :D
And to the moron that says we don't have anything to ski on thanksgiving: fvck off, loser. Go to Utah or something. :fm:

I'll be at Loveland on Saturday. See you there Funken!
Bring your beacons, if you guys want to get some drills done.
Hey Particle - fuck off! Max is just stoked to be somewhere besides LA!
Particle speaks the truth though.
Besides, Max is gonna be teachin his girlie to ski and by turkey day we usually just have enough to entertain a beginner = perfect.
oh and I think I'll be just fine if I don't ski the WRD at all.
And what about you? Skiing this year?Quote:

Hey everyone! Lay off Particle! He's a good dude, the first maggot I ever met wayyyy back in the day...I don't think he was trying to be a dick. He used to live in Breck.
Story of your life? ;)Quote:

yeah I'll be skiing this year (getting a basin pass) but only after hunting season is basically over or if things start getting actually good early. Likely be most weekends by mid-Jan
Still trying to get a few Friday meetings rescheduled before I can plan to ride the ribbon... and I really hate the thouight of going up there on the weekend. Might have to wait until next week.
Really, Loveland is not that bad on opening weekend. Last two years the line wasn't that bad - maybe 5 to 10 minute wait, compared to Abasin's 30-45 minute wait.Quote:
