The concept of fresh tracks

So the other day I change the sheets on our bed. I shake out the comforter and feather bed to make them all fluffy and comfy and stuff. Then, with my back turned, my daughter jumps on the bed creating a divet in the bedding all the way down to the mattress springs. "Fresh tracks!" she yells.

A different day we're all eating dessert and without waiting she lays the fork down on the frosting. "Fresh tracks!" she yells.

I think my future of getting fresh tracks in this family is in serious jeopardy. She's 6.

You better get that under control soon. Otherwise she'll be calling child protection services on you the next powder day :biggrin:

Sounds familiar. My second girl (5yo at the time) got off the lift last winter and yelled over her shoulder, "I'll wait for you at the bottom dad."

my wife and I were visiting her brother in rossland when it happened to snow last winter. we were relaxing in the hot tub and my 3 yr old nephew reached out, grabbed two handfulls of snow, threw it in my face and yelled "faceshots" while laughing his ass off.

Someone here referred to dropping a brown trout at their office before anyone else did that day "first tracks".
