Yeah, the Hyper-Mantis are great skis. I bought a pair of 181s last season. They're light, solid, ski well in a variety of conditions. The mount point is pretty progressive, so, kick turns are super easy w/the slightly more centered mount. The tails are fairly stiff, so good for corn and steeps-they also ski well in powder. Long days are easy since they're so light. Light-colored top sheets don't stick snow. Super quick turning, but can also haul ass if you need to. I don't feel the skis are twitchy at all.
Prior to the Hyper-mantis, I had some Hyper-chargers for a couple seasons. The main difference I feel is that the Hyper-chargers were better in pow since they are wider. They had a further back mount point and weren't as quick turning as the Mantis.
