The Fall of Tua skis



Here's to hoping all goes well for PM Gear for 2005 and the years to come. I'd sure like to see what products come out of there in the future. Same goes for DB.

Good read.
I had a pair of toute Neige before the tails delammed. Decent ski but wayy to skinny.
After that, I went back to mounting alpine skis for tele.

Interesting how the new guy refused to 1) make fat skis 2) make new molds and 3) blew tons of money on a new factory.

I bet someone could buy the Tua name and make a decent fat tele ski in their garage and do quite well. Too much overhead and marketing BS and not enough quality ski production killed them. They have been crushed in recent years by the development of the burly monster tele ski.
