That's awesome. And I really thought that was the stuff of urban legends. You know, lazy road crews, striped possums, etc. I grew up in that town and even though it has changed a lot since then, I am so proud. I can't find anywhere that the street name is mentioned.

Getting outraged by this is ludacris. But, I'm all for better treatment of farm animals and criminalizing cruelty towards pets. People who abuse animals / pets are much more likely to abuse people.
