I have a bunch but they're mainly for keeping beer cold.
Always...thougha bag of ice seems to be more effective.
sitting here with one on my ankle from ice skate-induced bruising and another on my other shin from a slap shot over a month ago - goddamn. Hockey IS fun, though.
So a long time ago my parents went away for a weekend, I wasn't home either. I come home the next day and my twin younger brothers had had a bash. The house was a shambles. Alll kinds of stuff wrecked, antiques, you name it. I find my one brother upstairs lying on my parents bed, watching TV, with a pack of frozen green beans on his ankle.
"What happened to you"
"Think I broke my ankle, fell down the stairs."
"What's with the green beans?"
"We didn't want to waste any ice, we needed it for drinks."
Kid always was hardcore.
Let me guess, green beans for dinner that night?Quote:

Probably a half dozen in total. I have several of the gel packs inside a velcro wrap - perfect for knees so you can move around a bit and they stay in place.
I found corn clumped upp too much after repeated uses. Peas are the frozen food of choice. But an actual ice pack will out perform veggies or ice.Quote:
