Who's got one in thier freezer right now awaiting the misfortune of need? I have two in the deep freeze at all times.

I have a bunch but they're mainly for keeping beer cold.

sitting here with one on my ankle from ice skate-induced bruising and another on my other shin from a slap shot over a month ago - goddamn. Hockey IS fun, though.

So a long time ago my parents went away for a weekend, I wasn't home either. I come home the next day and my twin younger brothers had had a bash. The house was a shambles. Alll kinds of stuff wrecked, antiques, you name it. I find my one brother upstairs lying on my parents bed, watching TV, with a pack of frozen green beans on his ankle.

    "What happened to you"
"Think I broke my ankle, fell down the stairs."
    "What's with the green beans?"
"We didn't want to waste any ice, we needed it for drinks."

    Kid always was hardcore.

I always preferred frozen corn, it formed better.

Probably a half dozen in total. I have several of the gel packs inside a velcro wrap - perfect for knees so you can move around a bit and they stay in place.

I found corn clumped upp too much after repeated uses. Peas are the frozen food of choice. But an actual ice pack will out perform veggies or ice.

Peas, maybe with a side of corn.

    No salt, just butter.
