WWMD - Cougar advice

soooo, first the facts. i'm a 32 year old single slut :D lately things have slowed down a bit because i don't go out near as much as i used to. those one nighters are only a booty call away, but whenever i do that it seems to involve more than what it's worth sometimes. i'll be honest here...i am not un-experienced in the ways of the cougar and currently have one on that list.

saturday night after the hockey game me and a buddy stop at a bar by the rink to have a couple and say hi to our friend who was bartending. the bar was pretty packed and all of a sudden this lady comes up to me, points to a small group of ladies and says "you'd better watch it, these girls are on a scavenger hunt and there's no telling what they might want from you." i thought it was weird because they didn't look like a bachelorette party. my reply was "well, i don't have anything for you and no, you're not getting my boxers" and smiled at her. i said "this doesn't look like a bachelorette party, what's going on?" to my amazement, her reply was "it's a women on weed party" this took me by suprise to say the least. then she says "just kidding" or something like that and walks away.

a little while passes and i look around the bar to see this cougar making eye contact with me on a couple of occasions. to be honest, i didn't think much of it because i had something else in my sights, a hottie at the bar that i was talking to. she ended up just being a tease but that's another story. :rolleyes: anyways, this other lady in the group comes up to me at the bar and says "are you single?" i say yes and she was like "i've never done this before but my friend would really like for you to give her a call, the one that you were talking to earlier" and handed me a piece of paper with her friends name and number on it. the others had already left the bar and i didn't have a chance to get a real good look at this lady other than the short conversation.

i'm almost positive that she was not a day under 40. maybe 42? i dunno. pretty good looking MILF if memory serves me well, but i wish i would have gotten a better look at the whole picture in the first place. i guess the only thing that i am against is some kind of dinner date or something in public. if i call and she says to come over to her house and she will cook me breakfast, should i do it?

WWMD? any good ideas to keep me out of trouble? thanks!

Listen, brah. You are 32. You seriously have an issue with going out to dinner with a woman maybe ten years older than you? If she's good looking, who gives a damn? I mean what kind of issues do you have, anyway?

i guess i'm saying that if i called her up and she says "do you want to go out for dinner & drinks" i would probably say no because i'm not much into the blind date thing and probably not into a relationship with a lady 10+ years older than me. if i call her up and she says "why don't you come over to my place and let me have my way with you. i'll even make you an omelet in the morning" chances are good that i would be on my way over there :D

Make her an offer she can't refuse....

While bumming in Jackson Hole in the early 90's.... I strike up a nice conversation with a cougar on a Tuesday night at one of the local watering holes. After a few drinks and some nice talk, I notice it's getting late and it was still snowing out (powder day). With nothing to lose, I lean over to say it's getting late and ask her to come home with me. She was a bit shaken but smiled and said hold on a minute. She walks over to her friends and has a quick chat and then comes back to the bar and says let's go. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep that night but I did make first tram. Never saw her again after dropping her off at her condo

What else have you got to lose xboat? Don't know what it's like in you hometown but if it's typicall to most ski towns, the ladies are few and far between...

So if she suggests dinner and/or drinks, why not counter suggest that you go over and hang out for a little in order to assess each other's level of interest.

You're still avoiding the question, why does being seen with an older woman bother you?

is it that you are afraid if you are seen around town with an older lady it might damage your reputation as a lady killer? Maybe that is why he doesnt want to call her. If you got nothing else lined up, what is there to loose, if the date sucks dont call her again. Caller ID is wonderful

If you've got nothing else lined up, I don't see any reason not to call her. She apparently didn't strike you as hideous when you were talking to her. If you've really got to see her again before you can make up your mind maybe set up lunch to "get to know each other"? I mean, people do go to lunch with co-workers and such - people wouldn't assume you're on a date if that's what you're worried about.

my thoughts...she is probably a "nice" girl otherwise she would have asked you back to her apartment right then.

The fact that she had a friend give you her number tells me that she is really nervous and probably does not pick up on guys frequently.

Conclusion: At most she wants to go on a formal date with you, but I'm guessing she is married and was having a girls night out. She is mad at her hubby because he never listens and needs someone interested in conversation, long walks, and quilting.

Evidently you looked like the kind of guy into that sorta thing. :D

Xboat, you already missed your move. So simple yet hard to remember at the time. Anytime a girl A tells ya her girl B digs your C game, proposition A saying that all three of you are going out. That way you've already got two rides home if ya know what I mean.
