Shoulder was creamy goodness and hardly anyone skiing it.

1st run (of the season): Punani's

2nd run: Fenceline double

3rd run: Quick jaunt over to Sunnyside to say hi to Ali

4th run: Minor Finder

5th run: Unnamed nose just skiers left of the point

6th run: Da Point (only one not stomped)

Anything less than 40ft was huckable. If this hadn't been my first day of the season I would have atleast gotten the Finder and revenge on the point. Couldn't have asked for a better first day of the season.

edit: and castle didn't open so I'd better see more faces tomorrow :D

After hearing how shitty the skiing has gotten, today turned out to be pretty damn good.

Shoulder opened up just in time and we got lots of good laps out there. I loved it.

Hope to see some of you out there soon.

Are you guys getting a bit of a corn cycle down there with all the dense snow that fell?

Your more than welcome on sunnyside with us Buzz. she is starting to rip around like she knows what the hell she is doing! No better feeling in the world then what Im feeling up there with her this year. I am truly blessed to be able to pass the stoke on to a young one!

I had a great day at Alta and found lots of great snow. Gunsight, ballroom, thirds, Glory hole. West rustler, not so good.

Oh Lynx, I saw you at the bottom of the loaf... I was a little too shy to yell "Hey Lynx! Yeah you, from the internet!" :) Anything on the north side of the compass had some fun carvable butter on it, anything on the south side had a death crust that thawed in the heat of the afternoon.

Having killer shin splints and having skied the last six of seven days, I needed the break! I might ski tomarrow, did it snow? I may make it in the afternoon tomarrow.

When you live here for more that a few weeks, you can be picky too! :biggrin:

I had a chance to meet and chat with a few of the campers last night. The stoke was pouring out of their ears & they are having a blast.

Gordy & co. are riding them hard. :cool:
