The insurer also has agreed to spend $5 million to promote the Paramount Pictures film, which is based on the first three books in the Lemony Snicket children's series. The ads are scheduled to begin airing later this month.

I didn't suck by any means. I thought it was creative and funny. The AFLAC duck scene was half a second, and he didn't say "AFLAC". I woudn't have known it was that duck if it weren't for this thread. I didn't feel like I was watching a Tim Burton rip off either. Though, the costumes and darkness were definitely similar.
The characters and plot were very creative, but it felt like it was lacking something. It sort of felt incomplete, like there could have been a more thorough explanation of the underlying story (and supporting characters). Worth watching, but a video rental for sure.
Jim Carey is an absolute genius. I loved this movie.
I saw the movie. It did not suck. Please send me fifteen dollars.
