Very, very good. Baldy opened. Tons of boot deep stashes even at the end of the day. East and west aspects are toast, but the north are holding some cold smoke still. Basically it was like a very good February day as far as coverage of the technical entries and such.
Crowds were not too bad. One tram wait most of the day and 2-5 minute gadzoom wait.
It was super sweet. In the morning, it was more like a 2 or 3 tram wait until the red-lighted it.
Baldy was SICK! Creamy old pow on spatulas = tons of fun.
I wouldn't go near the place on Saturday - all tracked out plus insane crowds = waste of time.
WOW! Must be the earliest Baldy opening ever? Always seems to happen when you move to another mountain range. Damn, I'm gonna have a lot of emails/pics/voicemails when I get back to work on Monday :rolleyes:Quote:
