Need a TR from the people who hit up the Bird opener today. Snow conditions? Crowds? Pictures?

Third-hand and unspecific: some spots good, some spots super sketch. Crowds and tomorrow will be a zoo (duh).
hmmm...
Very, very good. Baldy opened. Tons of boot deep stashes even at the end of the day. East and west aspects are toast, but the north are holding some cold smoke still. Basically it was like a very good February day as far as coverage of the technical entries and such.
Crowds were not too bad. One tram wait most of the day and 2-5 minute gadzoom wait.

It was super sweet. In the morning, it was more like a 2 or 3 tram wait until the red-lighted it.
Baldy was SICK! Creamy old pow on spatulas = tons of fun.
I wouldn't go near the place on Saturday - all tracked out plus insane crowds = waste of time.

WOW! Must be the earliest Baldy opening ever? Always seems to happen when you move to another mountain range. Damn, I'm gonna have a lot of emails/pics/voicemails when I get back to work on MondayOriginally Posted by Bum Z

I thought it was sick. ON a 815 tram. not wait tilll 10 then about tram or two wait. Blower on norht facing and baldy opening was insane. West faces warmed up at about 130 and was like super sick corn.
Crazy coverage!!!!!
