Should I upgrade to Alta/Bird?
I've got my Bird pass, and it's an extra $200 to upgrade to Alta.
Should I do it?
- I'm primarily a snowboarder who bought skis last year. I've skied maybe 10 days total my whole life, most of that over 10 years ago. Bottom line: I suck, and imagine I'll be plenty challenged at the Bird.
- I'm unemployed. I've got lots of time to hit the 'Ta, but bling is in short supply.
- My ski boots, which were free, are old and a bit too big. I could use the money toward a new pair. Which would prolly help my skiing more than hitting Alta.
- With a Bird pass, Alta is $20/day. Will I go there more than 10 days?
- And finally: Do I really want to support Alta? Their no-snowboarding rule is basically a marketing decision. Which is their business, and is cool, but if that's the case I don't think I want to support that decision.

I have no intention of doing this but it gives me an opportunity to yet again bring up the fact that I feel Alta's ban on boards is wrong, wrong, wrong. I am gonna rock the bird & occasionally Solitude, so if you guys wanna ride with my supacool self ya best catch me there.
shit thats $200 bucks I can spend on 1 night of drinkng!
