I haven't eaten pancakes or anything requiring syrup for about 2 weeks... I washed them once and they still smelled, so I tried a different soap. Now they smell like maple syrup and strawberries. I don't understand.

Been with a vermont girl lately?
No, but there was a fat girl that seemed to be stalking me last week around the bar... I'm 90% confident it isn't from her, it was in Wisconsin, so would have smelled like cheese and beer.
Maybe the labels on the maple syrup and the hand lotion got swapped?
No, I'm pretty sure I would have noticed. Don't smell today. The apparent cure is to get drunk and go to the bar.Quote:

Get drunk & go to the bar ,or go to the bar & get drunk ,or both!
I had an old VW bug many years ago that smelled like maple syrup when I played the heat. Drove me crazy, I would be craving pancakes every morning by the time I got to work. I finally open the front hood one day (this was no pristine bug) and found all the air chambers / hoses full of leaves. I left them; it was really the best thing about the car.
Mine smelled like that too after the last Gophers' game. Somebody "made" me drink a pint of maple buttershots while tailgating.
