I was set straight...you risk stripping the threads if you adjust the forward pressure with the boot in. So if you want to think of it that way you are adjusting the forward pressure on the air. You check if it's set correctly with the boot in.Quote:

As I mentioned in another thread, I think the pressed slotted track is not the most robust, especially in relation to the worm screw.
In a semi related note, if you back the worm screw on the heel so that the first thread is "down" the heel slides on the track and engages the baseplate track smoothly.
