Ottime and I made arrangements to meet at Carson Pass @ 9:15 for a little maize and a little training. We ended up with WAAAAAY more training than corn. But that didn't matter, because it ended up being a powder day.
We walked about 1/2 mile before putting on the skins, since the PCT is making a recovery. After passing Winnemucca Lake, we realized it was gonna be a bit on the firm side. http://www.aboutlaketahoe.com/images...9-08%20007.jpg
Ottime forgot his camera, but I didn't want to disappoint the ladies. I would've gone for the full body shot, but the tall tee steeze combined with the Imam steeze would have been way to much too handle. http://www.aboutlaketahoe.com/images...9-08%20125.jpg
Thanks to the guy that picked me up hitchhiking. I hope you got the job.

I will say that Powdork makes an excellent Drill Sergent. I believe I even heard him screaming "Aaaaarmy training sir" as he dropped in.
We would top peaks, just for the hell of it. Nothing works you out like a down hill walk. And don't blink, 'cause he will already be at the bottom waiting to go up again.
Stovepipe was fun. Especially hitting it in November. And the powder, oh the powder. Not to mention the climb out.
I figure I saved $120 by not driving to Mammoth - lift, gas and I can't possibly go by the Momart without stopping. Still some how had energy today to hit the groomed WROD at Rose. It was nice to stretch the legs.

Mmmm. I did not think about that. With the pass closed, it may just be closed. That would have been disappointing.
Holes in your shin? Do you need a boot fitting? I definitely have some blister formation, but not too bad. Just need to add a layer of mole skin.
