I went on the hunt this morning and hit up the Gallatin just outside of Four Corners for a quick battery recharge.
Much slower than expected. Didn't put any fish into my hands, but had two nice brownies come off the fly right at my feet. A few other refusals and that was about it.
Gorgeous morning with leaves changing and sun shining = definitely still worth it.
It's about to start around Jellystone! :D

..Ahh igBand...I know the stoke of a sunny Fall day, but don't let yourself slip into tourist-mode (ie...Bright Sun) too often when after big late-season trout. Wait till you get a little cloudiness, often mixed with snow :rolleyes:, then start throwing line....but you prolly already know...Quote:
