Never thought about a heart monitor, but other electronic devices can certainly interfere with beacon performance.

My guestimate is that it's not an issue, but fuly understand the concern to get an actual answer.
Heart rate monitor? Bit excessive isn't it old chap?
If you have a couple of beacons just do the experiment fuggawdsake. Move the HRM in close proximity to one and check the other. Switch out different beacons on each end. Vary distances/proximities. That's how I checked to see what my GPS, cell phone and radio were doing to my transmit/receive signals. Obviously the digital beacons are the most likely to be affected.

For a wrist based one I would guess this is true, however some HRMs use a strap around the waist and a tiny signal to transmit data to the receiver. I'd be warry about using this type with a HRM and woudl test it out first.Quote:
