i Looked high and low for an excuse to get high and not gfo to work. I fojund it. Course it involved getting a camera and sharp obhects inserted deeply into the place wherrrr the suh dont shine. I ajm now entertaninign my wife by being in a state. So the doc foung a cuopel of items tht shoiu.dnt be there adn took em out. thank yuou. Thees dru;gs are quite good dn I can't go to work tomorrow ither. I asked him if i could go skiing tonorrow. said yes but just not toay/I will come out of htis stupor/stupid but untol i do I wiol thumb my thumb and ebven my nose at my randon drig testeing employet. cheers

I know a couple of people who just finished their first year in Med. School, and they had to do a four week placement in a small town hospital. This one doctor brings my friend Casey into a room, introduces him as Dr. to the patient, shows him the colonoscopy equipment, and leaves Casey to do the, ahh, procedure....

I just ate some chicken with matzo ball soup, first food since Monday and I feel somewhat back in the world. Although I did just fall asleep at the keyboard for ten minutes. Is it still Wednesday? Spicoli I think they gave me the versed first 'cause I immediately started floating away. I've had so many in my family die of colon cancer that I can look foreward to this on a regular basis.

well, I keep falling asleep at the wheel here so I think it's nap time.

The Colon is not something to F*ck with as I can say from my past month of life!
Over the past year I had to run to the emergency room twice with pains in the lower part of my body that pretty much felt as if someone stuck me with a serated blade and was pulling it in & out along with a fever of 103+,Not fun to say the least.
End result was during my last episode they found 2 absesses & small perforations on my sigmoid colon, so once again I am a sweepstakes winner and have to go under the knife!
So on may 13th I went in for the surgery to have a "Colon resegmentation. This is some of the worst surgery I could ever imagine;Shit getting a spinal fusion was easy!
They ended up removing 23cm (9+inches) of my Colon cut my stomach verically from the bellybutton down to my !!!!!!!. They kept me in the hospital for 8 long days giving me a plathora of meds and I did not eat food from the tuesday before surgery until the friday I was released. Shit you want to talk some serious weight loss, I look like a cancer patient. Thats the good news they found no cancer!!!
It has been 3 weeks & I just now am getting the energy to walk a couple of miles each dayHowever the pain is still there.
Moral to the story I should have listened and gotten scoped alot sooner maybe some of this hell could have been prevented!

Welcome to the club! Had emergency surgery two years ago due to a volvulus in the sigmoid colon (basically, the colon twists itself--and yeah, you get the picture, blocks itself off). It'll take some time to get back to 100%, but you will. And the weight will come back, too.

I had problems my entire life with bad intestinal cramps and never knew the problem. The docs think my colon was twisting all the time, but usually would eventually untwist until this final incident. Good news is I haven't had any problems since.
