Looks like the board is hurting for photos, dredging up the old stuff. Anyway here is my effort from today. North facing middle of Dec. in AK.

Start of most things is within 2 miles of town. You can see this line from main street. Don't really need a vehicle.

Why did you put the lift ticket on your jacket zipper? Doesn't it fly into your face?
