    Chugach TR

Looks like the board is hurting for photos, dredging up the old stuff. Anyway here is my effort from today. North facing middle of Dec. in AK.

climbed up onto the ridge ice skating on Eyak below

    skiied along the ridge

    stood on the cornice

    inspected the line

catching some shade under the cornice

    not much sluff

16th b'day so we gave him a spine

    halfway home
should be a great week in the Chugach

I wish my Dad would take me skiing in AK... and I'm 18. He has two years on me. Damn.
Man, skiing is the easy part.

Start of most things is within 2 miles of town. You can see this line from main street. Don't really need a vehicle.

Why did you put the lift ticket on your jacket zipper? Doesn't it fly into your face?
