Denver tomorrow night. Who's in?
I'll be at church tomorrow night!
I'll be there tomorrow. I went to the session last year (at the Oriental?) and it was definitely time well spent.
Thanks in advance to Halsted and FOBP.
Bump for the Denver talk tonight.
I'll try my best to be there.
I have a question.
Suppose I take the course here in Denver, then want to participate in the on-snow training in Jan., but don't have any touring gear..... well, will I be able to participate in the on-snow training?
Thanks.![]()

BZ on point. I am out for tonight, but i passed it on to a bunch of friends that are thinking about getting into BC. This IS the way to go. Hell this is how I got started a few short years ago. Halsted puts on a fantastic presentation, as FOBP continues to pave the way for newbies to get into the BC in a safe way. Not to mention helping those with skills refine their thinking and get ready for another great safe season ripping pow at the pass.

Went to the Denver sessions last night. Superb presentation. Lots of thanks to Halsted. For a novice seeking to get into the BC, it was a great overview. My favorite part was the section on identifying avy terrain -- looking at a picture and determining which routes are safer or dangerous. A few items that would have been interesting to see: some stats on avalanches and avalanche fatality in the BC. But a superb presentation nonetheless. Looking forward to the on-snow demonstration.
Sweet!
Boulder tomorrow night. Winter storm coming too. Spread the word! Let's pack the house.
Be careful crossing paths with pinner. Last time I saw him he was dancing seductively with an 80 year old man.
That's more like it!
This Golden God hopes to see a good maggot turnout tonight at the Boulder presentation.
EDIT: Actually I'd kinda like to see that video. Man what a hilarious night!

bump for tonite
this might be an incredibly stupid question, but to anyone thats been, can you bring food\drink inside? I know some churches are pretty picky about that sort of thing. probably will have to pickup dinner enroute.
I dunno about food and soft drinks but they definitely don't want alcohol in the church.

pechelman,
yeah, try to finish your food/drink before coming to the church. It's a nice church that was donated to us, so we'd like to keep it clean & free from potential spillage.
see ya tonite!
