yep, same here. snow from multiple snowstorms, a thaw and solid ice abounds. in spite of alternate side parking the street glaciers persist and continue to grow. can't recall a winter like this since '03 - when we had an uninterrupted snowpack in the flatlands late december to mid march. i regretted driving *home* in the snow sunday evening but the windholds and power outages (MRG) monday kept all said regrets in check. ^^sunday 10:54 am patrol dropped the ropes on upper black. first time for me since the old lift was removed

Tapatalk seems inconsistent in my ability to upload. One of only a couple shots yesterday as wicked cold. Skiing stiff pow.

Middlebury was skiing about as good as skiing gets today. That mountain is stacked deep. Nice cold snow. What a freakin gem.

Fingers crossed wind isn't too bad at Wildcat tomorrow. I remember before Fail the lifties used to brag that their brand new express 4 pack could handle 60 mph winds because they typically blew top to bottom.

^^ good to get some official clarity on this. not ending the season on superstar will weird but glad there's a commitment to late season (though ending on north ridge means a skiable route to bottom, right. can't imagine downloading on the snowdon triple...)

ETA: the press release includes a trail map with closing dates for various lifts but damned if i can ever post an image here.
very cool that the K1 will run to may 11. haven't seen that before.

good to know. the snowbowl was on my radar for last two storms (esp with MRG sold out early).
haven't been there in years but the place always delivers.

I posted this somewhere else, but if you didn’t see it, redownloading a new version of Tapatalk has resolved my posting/photo sharing problems.

Luckily I remembered my password.

Hope that helps. Best winter in years on the EC and of course photo sharing on the forum shits the bed :/

Oh wait last year was the best EC winter ever, right!? lol

it was! and featured ending the day at bottom of bailey's chair which had long stopped after doing the old powerline run. we had to crawl *up* to rt 124 through bottomless snow and hitch a ride to main lot. turns earned!
do they only run bailey's on F-S-Sun now? i think it used to run starting wednesdays in the past.

Haven’t skied up there much the past few years but things seem headed in the right direction. Baileys didn’t run at all for at least two years - sounds like they are going to try to have it going Friday, Saturday and Sunday until they close or the snow melts

^ that's insane, that cliffy section under the chair is best feature on the mountain (at least that's not in the woods)

Might be a long shot but has anybody here taken a skin up brodie mountain in western mass this year? Drove by recently and thinking of checking it out.

Surprised he is skiing (or doing anything) in such a left leaning state.
I think that's a good thing in this day and age.
