Anyone know exactly where this happened? Sounds like up the Taylor fork or something?
I read something that made it seem like it could potentially have been trades related retribution as he worked up there in Big Sky. I bet montucky fried can give us some insight..
Moose Creek Rd. Wall tent. Drunk fighting im envisioning.
I've had a couple drunken debaucherous overnights at moose Creek back in the day, but a hatchet was never involved luckily. It'll be interesting to see what suspect comes forward, if any.

Snowbird did that in the Mineral Basin area, playing checkmate to acquire more skiable terrain.

Good. Drunk asshole billionaires and a few cool ppl. Start rifle Sat, 30 day work then roll to NM. One cool guy w house in YC wants me to do all his food this winter, but hasn't followed up.
Wow that story about the Crazies and the Yellowstone Club pisses me off. I sure hope all those "move-ins" don't overtake Montana government completely. We rode Trespass creek in the Crazies this fall and were blown away by how cool and remote they are.

The Crazies are a beautiful range that gets marginal snow and way too much wind. But the "move-ins" are rapidly seizing control and there appears little to stop them. I love how the MT locals bitch about the outsiders while eagerly taking their $$$.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Me and the Missus are flying out of BZN tomorrow afternoon and were thinking of rolling out of Teton Valley a little early to be able to grab a nice quick lunch somewhere in Bozeman before our flight at 2pm. She is a Gluten Free foodie - any recommendations?? TIA
