I knew there was a renegade clone coming out. Looks sick. Fortunately for me I have 5 pairs of white room RENs with bindings. The R110 looks so intriguing. But I own way too many skis.

Haha. Yeah, I saw these yesterday while the NA guys were asleep but decided to wait until they discovered it on their own. ;-)

Anyway, when the image was leaked a few weeks back, we all commented a bit. Then I went on a textual discovery about a shortcoming I have with my Ren. MO emailed me directly, explaining that he had designed this ski to address that exact short-coming. I know he's busy as hell right now prepping skis, but when he's free he can explain it better than myself. So, I'll refrain for now.

Anyone else who had experienced the HALS Ren, before 4Frnt reduced the radius as well as the reflectech, and you therefore refrained from buying a new model, like myself, you'll be pleased to hear what MO has done.

    "pffff" is right.

But to be clear, I won't be replacing my #845 2013 186 Owl Rens-- I'll be supplementing them with this ski. As well as-- buying myself a bit of security in the off-chance that my Ren snaps in half from hitting something, or the core blows up. I have aired onto rock on that thing. I've also driven my toe pieces into 4x4 fence posts. My Ren is 12 years old. I've hit shit.

It's freak shit like that that concerns me that my OG Ren won't exist anymore. Well, wouldn't... This UT122 is lighter, stronger, and longer. And has some shape changes that I haven't mentioned yet... cue MO.

In all realty, let's give MO a break. He's got an office full of skis right now that he's hand-shaping and even telling us via email that he won't reply to email away from 9am or 5pm.

    Homie is on fire.

Tell me more about them. I ordered a pair based on MOs quick description, but eager to hear more justification for my purchase.

Based on the specs I thought "modern, slightly more forgiving/playful Bode". Maybe Bode with a hint of Rustler?

HL Skis allow you to fly! What other ski brand can say that?

If a bode, a Lhasa fat, a billygoat, fl113, and a FL105 had an unholy union.

They flat out rip. I’ll be on mine a lot this winter.

Me too. I do plan to ski the 194 c113s a whole lot mounted alpine, you know, for science, but I'm pretty sure the 116s will take a lot of days from both fr110s and fl113s.

Also, beautiful artwork. Cough cough. [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

184 FL116s seems like the BG without RES, -8 mount ski I've been wanting. The BG is fantastic off piste, but I am very happy being on piste on my way back to the lift doing mach looney as well where the BG is more just ok - hence the desired ski.

That being said - my quiver for 24/25 is already settled.

UT122s look sweet as well. That ski in a 184 would be hard to pass on.

The evolution of the HL catalogue makes my wallet be afraid.
